Pool Opening Day — May 24th
Mark your calendars! The Country Place pool opens for the 2026 season on Saturday, May 24th — with a freshly resurfaced pool, new shade structures, and a neighborhood kickoff party.
Spring is here, and the Country Place pool is about to come back to life. After a winter of careful maintenance and some thoughtful upgrades, we're counting down the days to Saturday, May 24th — when the gates open and the 2026 season officially begins.
It's been a big offseason. The pool was drained in November, fully resurfaced in January, and re-tiled along the waterline with a new aggregate finish that glints blue-green in the afternoon sun. If you've walked past the fence in the last few weeks, you might have caught a glimpse of it already — a crisp, almost Mediterranean color that we think you're going to love.
What's New This Year
We used the offseason to tackle a handful of long-requested improvements. The biggest one is the resurfacing — a ten-year cycle that keeps the pool safe, smooth, and comfortable for bare feet. But we also made room in the 2026 budget for a few smaller upgrades that should make pool days a little more pleasant.
- Two new shade sails over the lounge chairs on the south deck
- Six new umbrellas to replace the ones that went through last summer's storms
- A refreshed kiddie pool area with softer landscaping and a new low fence
- Upgraded pool-side Wi-Fi for the parents trying to keep an eye on work emails
The pool is the heart of summer at Country Place. Every year we try to make it a little better than the last — and this year, I think we've outdone ourselves.
— Marcus Rivera, Pool Committee Chair
A Tour of the Grounds
While the pool itself got most of the attention, the surrounding areas also saw some TLC. The patio was power-washed, a few broken tiles were replaced, and the landscaping crew planted new crepe myrtles along the back fence that should bloom just in time for Memorial Day weekend.
Pool Hours
The pool will be open every day from May 24th through Labor Day (September 7th). Here's what to expect:
- Monday – Thursday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Friday – Sunday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Holidays: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Lifeguards will be on duty during all open hours. The adult swim hour is 6:00 – 7:00 PM on weekdays, consistent with past seasons.
Opening Day Party — You're Invited
We're throwing a neighborhood kickoff party on opening day starting at 11:00 AM. The HOA is covering hot dogs, burgers, chips, and drinks. Bring a dessert or side to share if you feel inspired — but it's completely optional.
There'll be a DJ from noon to 3:00 PM, a cannonball contest for kids at 1:00 PM, and a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses. It's our favorite event of the year, and we'd love to see you there.
Gate Card Reminder
Your existing gate card continues to provide pool access — no action needed if yours is still working. If you've lost your card, need a replacement, or are welcoming new residents who haven't received one yet, please stop by the HOA office at 3600 Country Place Drive any weekday between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Replacements are $15.
New residents: if you closed on your home after January 1st, we have a welcome packet waiting for you that includes your gate card, a copy of the community handbook, and a small gift from the welcome committee. Come say hi.
